Frequently Asked Questions
For some people, a combination of hydration and gentle exfoliation may improve the appearance and feel of skin that seems rough or irritated after shaving. It is not a substitute for medical care if you have persistent razor burn, folliculitis or other skin conditions.
Your practitioner will plan combinations and spacing with you.
The exact duration can vary depending on what is included.
All cosmetic procedures carry risks and may not be suitable for everyone.
Risks for non-surgical cosmetic procedures will be discussed in detail during consultation but may include, depending on the procedure:
- redness, swelling or bruising at the treatment site
- tenderness or temporary discomfort
- changes in skin colour or pigmentation
- infection or delayed healing
- uneven or unexpected aesthetic outcomes
Less common but more serious complications may occur.
Pain and comfort levels vary between individuals and depend on the method used. Non-surgical procedures can cause discomfort, including sensations such as warmth, pressure or tightness. Measures such as topical anaesthetic, cooling or other comfort approaches may be used where appropriate. Your practitioner will explain what to expect for any proposed procedure.
Written aftercare instructions will be provided if treatment is performed.
